Locations: Cardiff & Bromsgrove
HLN are currently looking for talented Architectural Assistants (Part II/III) for an opportunity at both our Cardiff and Bromsgrove offices.
The position is with an award winning practice that specialises in Retail, Leisure, Hospitality, Residential, Office design and large scale mixed-use environments. The successful candidate will work alongside a Senior Architects across the entire project lifecycle, providing input at the design, planning and construction phases. The successful individual will have a keen interest in design and a strong knowledge of construction, documentation and job running. You should be able to demonstrate excellent communication, presentation and design skills.
Experience of Revit would be a distinct advantage.
Develop, where required, representations of design options for further discussion by the design team.
Preparation of drawings for planning submission, assistance with planning applications, Building Regulation drawings and appeals, assisting with Client Liaison.
Record evidence of your professional experience in accordance with the requirements of the RIBA
- Robust design & technical skills.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, Sketchup and Microsoft office.
- Technical knowledge of construction, planning and building regulations as well as tender package experience
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
