Congratulations to the National Police Air Service on the opening of their new airbase in Bournemouth.
We are delighted to announce that John Medley has joined HLN Group, working out of our Redditch office he will be responsible for Business Development.
As you may be aware, HLN Group acquired Considere & Partners last July and the practice has continued to trade as Considere & Partners over the past year.
Commissioned by CBRE in March 2014, HLN are pleased to have assisted their Planning division in securing consent for the conversion of over 3000 square metres of existing office space into 21 luxury apartments. The design utilises the existing building envelope, thereby minimising the effect on the open countryside of Cobham in which it is located.
This success strengthens our relationship with CBRE and comes on the back of another planning consent secured for residential use in Billericay.
Congratulations to 3M on the recent opening of their new ‘Customer Innovation Centre’ within their existing UK headquarters at 3M Centre in Bracknell. HLN provided Architectural and Structural Engineering services to 3M, working alongside conceptual designers Imagination and contractor CCUK.
HLN is delighted to have been awarded the “BIM Project of the Year” at this years “Constructing Excellence in London and the South East Awards”. The New Houseblock and Education Facility at HMYOI Cookham Wood beat strong competition to claim the prestigious award and was described as a project that “defined what Level 2 BIM is today”.
We are delighted to confirm that Considere & Partners, part of HLN Engineering, have been appointed as Civil & Structural Engineers for the design of the only Children’s Hospice in Berkshire, the Alexander Devine Children’s Hospice, Maidenhead.
The hospice will provide care and respite accommodation, a therapy pool and other services along with the offices for the charity who are building and running it.
We are pleased to confirm that Darryl Ward has joined us in our Slough (Considere and Partners) Office, as Director Designate.
Darryl will take over the day to day management and development of the Office from David Andrew, who will continue to work alongside Darryl as a Consultant.
HLN’s Engineering Division has recently been appointed as “Structural, Civil & Transportation Consultant Engineers” as part of a £11m expansion and development of the Tycoch Campus, Gower College Swansea.
This year HLN participated once again in Give & Gain Day, a highly successful volunteer day for professionals organised by Business in the Community.
