Status: Completion Due Early 2014
On the strength and success of the prestigious 2010 Ryder Cup Clubhouse, HLN were appointed by South Bucks District Council in 2008 to design their new clubhouse and green keeper’s compound at The South Buckinghamshire Golf Course formerly known as Farnham Park.
SBGC is situated approximately two miles north of Slough and is set in 130 acres of attractive mature wooded parkland. One of the finest public golf courses in the South of England the course is described as the best kept secret in Buckinghamshire.
The proposed scheme will replace the existing clubhouse and green keeper’s compound whilst maintaining the existing clubhouse during construction, creating a modern flexible clubhouse for golfers with improved facilities to accommodate larger events.
The pro shop/reception area is centrally located directly off the main entrance foyer with staff office facilities and workshop repairs. The main changing/lockers, shower area and toilet facility are located on the right hand side of the plan. On the left is the bar/lounge and restaurant facilities serviced by the kitchen/cellar which has direct access for deliveries and car parking for approx. 55 cars.
