The development is located on the edge of the Cardiff Bay Conservation Area. Known for its historical buildings, notably the Pierhead Building, the Coal Exchange, and a number of other buildings dating back to the 18th century.
Due to its prominent location we have designed the development to mark the gateway into Cardiff Bay with the contemporary design approach that responds to the existing urban fabric.
The building forms a U-shaped layout on the upper levels creating an internal courtyard allowing the individual apartments to be single aspect, some with recessed balconies. On the lower level there is under croft car parking provisions. Consisting of 42 apartments over 5 floors, all apartments will vary in size depending on their location within the development.
