HLN were appointed as project architects for the 2.8 million makeover of the prestigious headquarters of Welsh Sport.

A team of Architects and Engineers from the Cardiff office oversaw the complex three-stage and two year modernisation of the Sport Wales National Centre in Sophia Gardens Cardiff. Including design and site supervision of extended out building facilities at the International training pitch, major external modernisation of the building and the designing and overseeing a new Welsh Dojo centre for this ever popular sport.

Supported by the Welsh Assembly Government HLN’s brief was to enhance the the building by reflecting the ongoing modernisation of the Welsh capital, providing a better environment for everyone from office staff to would be Olympians. HLN continues the development of Sport Wales into 2013, seeing the refurbishment of their reception by our Interior Design department. With the aim of reiterating their brand image uniting a proud nation.

Running parallel to this HLN are also engaged in the creation of a 10m indoor shooting range, consisting of 6 dedicated lanes enabling the shooters to train in the best possible conditions.
